DS1 was very active up to 3am every night in the latter stages of pregnancy. Unfortunately this continued when he was born!

When they're out, the advice is to sleep when the baby sleeps. Can you go to bed earlier? Nap in the day time?

cant nap during the day & she seems to know when i lay down that its time to wake up :-( once she has woken me i then suffer from insomnia so only getting 4/5 hours of broken sleep. i feel so ill ive been being sick all morning, cant shift this coldive had for three weeks, cant breath. just want to give birth now as cant see imgoing to get less sleep when shes bornbut at least i wont have a womb inavader anymore.

crikey, i sound so awful :-(

I'm about a week behind you and I too am sick of being pregnant and counting the days until I can realistically serve eviction notices.

me too, roll on Feb 11th, just to be able to lie down and get comfy and not have to get up for the toilet every 30 minutes will be a blessing. Sure this lack of sleep is to get us used to a newborn. I am also on countdown.

Total sympathy on the insomnia front. I was so exhausted yesterday so I went to bed at 8pm and zonked out. Until 2am when I woke up completely unable to get back to sleep. What use is that??

thanks guys but also :-( that youre going through a rough time as well. 8 weeks left today.

my question is why do pregnant woman suffer from insomnia? surely mother nature would want us to get as much sleep before baby is born?!
