I know they are to be expected, but I almost passed out in Asda's and nearly didn't make it around with my (tiny) basket of shopping.

I currently have a baby with a transverse lie and midwife said, any signs of labour to contact them immediately.

These aren't labour I had them them last pregnancy, but they weren't as severe.

Should I contact midwives or not, also are they likely to get worse as there is no way I am going to be able to continue school run if they are and I need to make some arrangements.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the consultant I had with DS told me it was something to do with stretching and sorry, I am sure they did get worse. :(

You could always call and ask them just to be safe?

Frigging agony aren't they?

I had them last time, but they only lasted a few seconds at a time, this time they lasted all the way around the shop, so at good half an hour, they are the cervix stretching, but these were incapacitating.

This is def my last baby!

I couldn't move with the ones I had, think I started a few threads of my own about it actually!

Ask your MW though, just to be sure. :)

I am seeing her on Teusday so I will speak to her about them then, they have stopped now I am sat down and it is a good excuse to get DH to do everything all weekend.

It really isn't an excuse. Make sure he knows how painful it is!

You should maybe just call them just in case though.
