Hi ladies just wondering if someone could help me I've made a but of a mistake and got myself now pregnant I had sex on the 20th October (I'm pretty sure I used a condom but I was very drunk and we had it more than once) then again on the early hours of the 27th morning and the 28th them occasions were both unprotected I took the levonelle pill on the 27th exactly no more than 15hours but then on the 28th I never went and got the levonelle pill until 30hours+ so I had 2 morning after pills within 3days and I'm now concerned as them 2 occasions were with different people I've regretted it ever since and just need some guidance as I know the morning after pill isn't 100% effective but the first 24hours are 95% I've told my doctor this and she seems to think I was already pregnant before I took the morning after pills or theres the higher chance the 30hour tablet never worked and that could be the culprit!! Could someone please help me!!! Also it was a major shock as I have polycystic ovaries and amazed at how u can be pregnant after taking 2 morning after pills!!!

hmm i would probably assume i got pregnant the first time then if i was you and add 2 weeks before that and all the weeks since then ... that would give you a very rough guide

Your dating scan will tell you pretty accurately, we'd all just be guessing I think!

I'm going for a consultation tomorrow for an abortion as I'm still confused and don't want to bring a baby up in a world of arguments x

I think it's impossible to say which of the two times you got pregnant. You just need to get to the GP so you can be referred to the MW and they will date it on your first scan

50/50 that close together and u can never tell when u actually ovulated to when the sperm reached as that could last a couple of days so i dont think u would know till a dna was done.but if u say ur getin an abortion then i wouldnt worry.or if u keep it its just a chance u will have to take.i would say second but thats just a rough guess.gud luck.

The MAP doesn't always work - someone I know got pg after a split condom and immediately taking the MAP. So unfortunately it could be any of the three times you had sex which caused the pregnancy, there's no way of us (or you) knowing. A scan might be able to date it to either one weekend or the other but not whether it was 28 or 29th.

if you are aborting, the scan they do will give you a better date than any guesswork, and then the person you see will advise what your options are regarding a medical or surgical abortion. It may also be worth discussing contraception at this appointment as they can fit a coil at same time if you opt for a surgical procedure.
