Hi am 27yr old and this is my 3rd pregnancy,i am 29wks pregnant but measuring 35wks my little girl is a big baby and has been engaged for over a week,,midwife and doctors said their is no-way she can move now,i am currently on tinzaparin and rh negative i can feel her pushing down the feeling of heavyness and pressure is becoming stronger but ive been in agony for 2 days with severe backache and been having brax & hicks very frequently,,havnt a clue what to do not being able to sleep at the minute and feeling plus being sick isnt helping,,this has been a totally different pregnancy than my last 2 they were both different but i had very quick births 20mins with my first who weighed 7lb 8oz and 24mins with my second who weighed 7lb 3oz and they are both girl's. Any advice would be most grateful x

Not much advice but didn't want to read and run.

Have you called your midwife?

I would probably ring the hospital, you can't be too careful and if your labours are usually super quick they might want to err on the side of caution.
Are you far away from the hospital? Is your DH/DP with you and do you have childcare to call on?

Yeah i can get the girls watched no problem,,my husband is with me and my mam only lives a cpl of mins from me,but the hospital is 15mins away not to long but i might just give them a ring to see what they say,,thank you :)

Ah, TBH I don't think it means much other than I'm odd and slightly uncomfortable!
i read that most babies after the first (this is DC3) don't tend to get engaged early. Apparently they're more likely to float around until they're ready to come out!
I had the same thing with DC2 though so I'm not too worried.

Is this your first DC? How has your pregnancy been?

Hoping OP is ok. X

Pochemuchka oh that's good then, hopefully you won't go into early labour! This is my 3rd pregnancy but 4DC (got twins), as a whole it's been wonderful....usual tiredness Smile I'm measuring 3 weeks ahead and had a growth scan but the lady said they never move the date so that was confusing!! So big baby but I think it will come earlier as all my symptoms have been 2 weeks forward Smile how's yours been? x

How you doing OP??? x

If symptoms are 2 weeks forward then the delivery will be 2 weeks before; Is this right??
