doesn't seem to make a difference if I have a full or empty stomach, or what I eat.

its keeping me awake and I still have a few weeks left at work, sleeping sitting bolt upright is SOOO uncomfortable (and not great for baby's postitioning leading up to the birth). Any tips?

Gaviscon. (Bleurgh!)
Milk at night when you just need to keep it at bay, a swig of milk every couple of hours.

Rantidine - Can't recommend anything better. Mine was so bad I was vomiting with it constantly this stuff stopped it. I love it Grin 12 tablets for £1 in Tesco take one first thing in the morning then another about 8 hours later. Wonderful stuff.

I like Horlicks!

I thought I had it last time but that was NOTHING, it was only after eating, unlike this time which is 24 hours a day. this is so painful

DH is off on a boots run, thanks x

Pharmacies say that about everything to pregnant women. If the Gaviscon doesn't do it then just buy the ranitidine off the shelf.

the lady at my local boots is actually really good, I always double check my prescriptions with her, have more confidence in her than the GP (been the same lady there for years, she's picked up on mistakes made by GP in the past)

Ranitidine is perfectly fine during pregnancy - your GP will write a prescription for it (but the Tescos brand is super cheap!)

And it's much better than Gaviscon in my painful agonising experience.

Gaviscon. The taste of pregnancy. The tablets are good during the day and the liquid at night by your bedside to swig as you need it. You can get it free on prescription.

Gaviscon, swigged from the bottle. Get your MW to prescribe you two big bottles at a time of the Double Action stuff then you can get repeats thereafter.

Ranitidine - far superior to anything else!

And you can get it on prescription. I've had it over the counter, and prescribed.

I find Rennie really good. I can't stand Gaviscon.

Another vote for Gaviscon. I could have bought shares in the stuff when I was pregnant.

Gaviscon with a straw for night time emergencies. The little convenience packs are great for in your handbag.

Omeprazole if the Gavison doesn't work. I too was a heartburn vomiter. Was agony. Milk also worked sometimes.
