Monoamniotic monochroniotic Twins!

Hi, I have just had an early scan, they said I'm 7wks and 3days. We have a daughter already who is almost 3 and had been umming and arring about giving her a sibling! We were blessed with a pregnancy and so booked the viability scan.

We were told yesterday that we are expecting twins! I'm 42! No twins in either side of our families!

We were also told that they are identical monoamniotic Monochroniotic (hope I've spelt that correctly!) the rarest and most high risk kind and from what we can gather, means they share the same amniotic sac.

Reading and rereading the report, it says we have multiple pregnancies with two yok sacs. Reading up on the internet it's says that two yok sacs = two amniotic sacs??!! We are confused and nervous. Can anybody advice please? Thank you....

Don't panic just yet, it's very very very difficult to see the membrane that divides the sacs as its so thin, also 2 yolk sacs generally means mono-di twins which are much less of a risk than mono-mono
