I'm only 28 weeks but he's giving my ribs a good old boot today. I've flinched with pain a few times today! Don't remember ds1 being this vigorous in the womb!

Oh I remember that. I was in hospital for a week before DS was born and they had ti write on the monitor printout that it was baby kicking because the printout looked like I was having contractions because he was going so mad.

Hasn't turned out to be a footballer yet though!

Oh, and congrats on another boy - they're fab aren't they?

Boys are just amazing fire I get so upset with all the gender disappointment aimed towards boys. I'm thrilled to be having another boy. My 2 year old little boy is absolutely hilarious! How old are your boys?

I'm 33 weeks with my first dc - a boy! :) so happy. The movements are very strong now and as his head is down, his feet are in my ribs and he loves giving them a good boot! They are so sore, but its a good sore

I actually yelped and jumped out of my chair the other day because of one of the kicks. I'm 27wks (and also very excited to be having a boy!)

It's the sudden ones that take your breath away that get me! I find it hilarious watching my alien belly move around so much now. My dps eyes pop out of his head when he watches and he keeps saying 'how weird is it there's an actual human in there!!' Grin

It would seem its the little boys causing all the trouble!

They hurt dont they but hopefully little girls are as bad as thats what we've been told we're having and if its wrong we have a ton of little girl stuff we've picked up to give away!!

I find the bladder kicks the worst, I'm nearly 23 weeks so she has a lot of growing to do yet and haven't experienced a rib kick yet.

I can't see her from the outside yet either, that'll be weird!

The bladder kicks are bad too definitely! A few have made me rush to the toilet desperate for a wee! Aw I'm sure the little girls are just as bad yes :) my right ribs actually feel a bit bruised!

I'm 28 weeks (with my 4th boy) and he is head down. My ribs haven't took a battering yet but it does feel like he is trying to burst out of my sides when I'm trying to get to sleep at night. Sometimes I almost wee myself when he moves, or if I've just eaten it makes me throw up!

Mine is a boy too and he's my third and he kicks the hell out of me!! I am 31 weeks. Its definitely boys who are the stronger kickers as DD didn't hurt me at all she just wriggled and the kicks were sweet not brutal Grin

Dinosaurs I too get the bursting out of my sides feelings at night too, its like he's having a karate match or something!!!

I too am having to be careful what I eat as it gets punched or booted straight back up.

I was just going to come on here and let everyone in the world know that I have a foot lodged under my ribs! 25 weeks tomorrow and don't know whether it's a boy or a girl, but it definitely thinks my full bladder is an amusing plaything..
