Hello all

First time poster so slightly nervous. I got a BFP on Thursday :-) hoping this is my much longed for forever baby after 2 miscarriages in my younger years.

I don't know how far along I am at all. Had last depo jab 1 Mar which "ran out" 24 May. We have been ttc since. I have only had one period since which was on 23 Aug. This technically means that I am 10 + 2 but I know I'm not that far along as had been testing most weeks after CD 40 got BFP on CD71. Digital says 1 - 2 weeks since conception. So that makes me 3-4 weeks. Based on hubby being ill and not having dtd for over 2 weeks I reckon I'm probably 4 weeks.

I have made an appt for Monday with doc. My question is what will they do 're confirming my dates? As obviously the current window is 8 weeks which is quite a difference!

Many thanks if you've managed to read to the end of this confused muddle!!

If digital says 1-2 weeks then that sounds about right. As they measure the level of HCG in the urine they are pretty accurate. GP is most likely to just say congratulations and pass you onto the midwife for normal care! Congratulations!

I'd tell them you don't have regular periods and that you are around 4 weeks. The lmp being so far away may confuse things and if they put you forward a few days later it'll be a nice surprise.

Massive congratulations on your bfp! Smile

Thanks for your help ladies. I was worried I may be sent for a scan in two weeks time only to see an empty sac and then have an agonising wait to find out if it was just early or not viable.

Thanks Smile
