Ouch. Have very sore bottom and just had a feel and a very tender bit poking out where it shouldn't be. Smothered it in sudocrem and poked it back it (ick!) and much less uncomfortable now but a) was that right thing to do b) will it come out again? C) is there anything doc can do if I mention it? D) will this improve post pregnancy (don't remember it happened with dd).

I've also got this problem with my second pregnancy. Any over the counter piles cream will help with the soreness and yes I think it's fine to pop it back in but it may well come out again and will almost certainly get worse if you have a vaginal delivery. A few weeks post birth though it'll probably have gone x

I have these, anusol cream is great, mine don't stay in when shoved back though, due to this being 3 rd baby and my pelvic floor has given up.
If they get really bad the doctor can inject them to get rid.
They do get better after the baby is born though, I promise. I've had them quite badly in both previous pregnancies and within a couple of weeks they were fine, not a peep from them until I got pregnant again.
