Low carb snacks to ease nausea?

It's DC2 and I'm hugely lucky that I got away without sickness last time. This time, 8wks in, I'm nauseous when hungry, which is almost ALL the time. I'm usually pretty good with my diet, a Briffa/primal eating fan, but all I seem to want to trough now is crisps, rather than my usual handful or nuts or lump of cheese. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same. Honestly, I think you just need to give in to it. Otherwise you are going to have 3 months of feeling beyond terrible. Eating is the only way through it for me. I'm coming to the other side of the nausea just now and haven't put that much weight on (same with previous DC also).

Greek yoghurt, walnuts, figs & the teeniest sneak of drizzled honey if you dare.

Primal protein bars? almond meal, coconut meal, coconut oil, almond butter, mixed nuts, touch of salt, dried cranberries, vanilla essence chunks of 70%+ choc. Melt the coconut oil & almond butter together and then mix the rest in. Press in to a loaf tin and leave in the fridge for an hour. I sometimes add a bit of honey if I fancy sweet.

I saw this earlier and think I'll make it this week: www.marksdailyapple.com/chocolate-and-coconut-cake/

Pumpkin muffins? Mash up one cup cooked pumpkin with coconut or almond flour, 6 eggs, nutmeg or all-spice type stuff, cinnamon, clove (?), vanilla essence, pecans/walnuts if you like. Bake - these are really moist and delicious, especially with a dollop of mascarpone. Make sure you grease the trays with coconut oil as they REALLY stick!

Lots more recipes over at marks daily apple.
