Dull question alert

My 28 week blood test is marked for an additional test 'rhesus antibodies' . I have never seen this on a blood test before (2nd pregnancy and I can be geeky with checking things). Why check this if I'm Rh+, or is this standard (why?). I don't actually know my blood group Blush but I presume it's + as by now someone would have mentioned if it wasn't.

All blood is routinely checked for antibodies. Pos and neg. There are lots of different ones (E e P etc) which aren't common but can have implications fir the baby (like increased risk of jaundice).
