Pregnancy symptoms?

Hello. Joined this site about a whole 2 minutes ago. I was working my way through google looking for answers and it lead me here, hopefully someone may be able to shed some light.

I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant; found out at around 6 weeks, but have had hiccups now for the past 4 weeks. I'm not one to normally hiccup so much, so this is something new, and as much as it's becoming the norm now, I'm still hoping they're pregnancy related and in time will go.

Anyone else ever had this symptom or know of anyone that has, and if so, will they ease up? It entertained people for a few days and brought about some laughs, but now I get the look of Angry every time I do. They're not constant, but at the very least I'll hiccup 3 times every hour.

Hi there, I have had hiccups for about 10 weeks now and am 15 weeks pregnant. Mine started off about 1 every 10 minutes or so, but its starting to ease up now thankfully & its more like 1 per 2 hours ish.

I asked my doctor and he said was nothing to worry about, it isn't a very common symptom but he was quite certain that pregnancy was the cause & that it would ease up.

They are weird & annoying though, I make a crazy gurgle sound before I hiccup too, sometimes I wonder if I'm actually wanting to burp but too ladylike & I just hiccup instead!

Yeah I'd never heard of them as pregnancy symptoms before so was quite confused. It's quite reassuring to know I could have them for atleast another 7 weeks though. Something to look forward to haha.

Have you tried anything to maybe stop them? Drinking water while stood on your head etc?

My boyfriend keeps trying to scare them out of me, but they are just too random to be effected by stuff like that I think. I think mine are stopping now though, noticing them less all the time.

Sorry I can't be more help!
