Fennel tea

I've had hyperemesis and have struggled recently with keeping food and drink down. However I have rediscovered my love for fennel tea, a good way to get my fluids, but have read it may have effects on oestrogen levels and may cause uterine contractions.
I'm almost 14 weeks.
I have it weak made with tea bags.
Anyone have any advice on fennel tea?

Sorry, no help here. The only thing I know is that it is considered good for breast feeding (helps increase milk production).

I've had it several times during pregnancy (with real fennel seeds, which I suppose are stronger than the teabags) and didn't have any problem (I had no idea about this contraction thing)
