I thought only the first ones took ages, or is that an old wives tale?

mrsjohndeere im not sure. thats what i thought and what im hoping aswell. with my first i had to be induced then have a c section coz he just didnt want to come out so he didnt engage at all.

4/5 isn't engaged though! Here's what my notes say: "5/5 = free, 4/5 = sitting on the pelvic brim, 3/5 = lower but most is still above the brim, 2/5 = engaged as most is below the brim, 1/5 = deeply engaged.

Baby engaged 4/5 at 28 weeks. Now 39+6 and still waiting. Sorry....

I thought it meant how many fifths she can still feel of babys head? So ur babies head is 1/5th below where they measure so 4/5ths she can still feel?
Im unsure though! Im 3/5th engaged, baby no2 and 38+5 so hoping its soon for me too!
Once babys engaged get on a gym ball and help gravity take its course smile goodluck i hope its soon!
