Mat pay

Rito folks.....

I think I've done everything I need to where mat pay is concerned. I've filled out the forms at work and handed them in with my matb1. DH has done the same for his pat 2weeks. Is there anything else I need to fill out to make sure we both get our financial entitlement?

Also, will mat/pat pay be paid through each of our employers? I.e on our usual paydays??

Just wanting to make sure I have everything sorted and clear in my head.

Yes I think you've done all you need to and in my experience mat pay has always been on usual pay day Smile

Sounds like you've done everything, and yes it should be paid through your employer as usual. You will notice it on your payslip as Statutory Maternity/Paternity Pay.

Id double check with hr that they received everything & have updated your files accordingly. Only because ours lost my colleagues form & matb1 so she had to redo.
It's also worth making a note of when you need to notify them.of your return. Think mine is 28days beforehand and then you can take annual leave etc. Cos once the baby is here you will forget and don't want to be on mat pay instead of annual leave.
Though I know you won't even want to think of returning yet!

Then you can relax and enjoy it all :)

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

I'm getting sooooo over excited now. I'm 30 weeks with our little IVF miracle and just can't wait to be a mummy. It's seemed such a long time since I had the embryo transfer and 2ww.
Don't think it helps that im a big kid at Xmas anyway, so just more and more excited for this Xmas. Feel like its never gonna get here!

Haha, jst thought - most people are desperate for a few extra weeks to get sorted before Xmas. I jst want it to be here now.
