Baby girl symptoms??

Ok so am looking for mums of girls? What symptoms did you have? Are any of the following true of old wives takes??

• crave sweet things
• lots of morning sickness
• boobs much bigger
• heart rate over 140 Bpm

-high bump

• weight gain on hips

Did any of these ring true? What were your symptoms with a girl?

In my first pg I had hyperemisis weeks 8-16, craved savoury things and lollies and had a small, high, bump. Boobs did not change at all. Wedding ring test said girl. I had a boy.


Second pg was pretty much identical. I had a girl.

I've had two boys and one girl. My 'odd pregnancy out' was ds1. Ds2 and dd pregnancies were the same.

I'm pregnant with our dd at the moment. Craving sweet things, awful morning sickness from 3 weeks to 18 weeks, high bump and heart rate over 140.

With DS I craved salt and vinegar crisps, no morning sickness, heart rate 130.

However, I had a high bump with him. Neither pregnancy did my boobs explode (they're huge anyway), and I carry all to the front.

• yes lots of sickness, at one point I thought about thst I might ending up staring at the loo brush for the duration of the pregnancy. This was in contrast to my pregnancy with DS where I was nauseous frequently but rarely was sick.

With DD I also had terrible heartburn throughout the pregnancy I only had this in the last 2 weeks with DS. She was born with a lot of hair- this old wives tale was definitely true.

iv had 2 girls and with both my cravings were fish chips and mushy peas from the sea side. also i put weight on all over with my girls, i never had any morning sickness or any other pregnancy symptom at all other than a bump. with my boys tho iv had morning sickness real bad didnt put any weight on except bump growing out and weight of baby ect and for some reason bad ligament pain with them maybe because the bump is all front.. thats about it really. there is a online gender test you can do try that it tells you all sorts of old wifes tales

DD1 - I craved carbs and hated anything chocolatey/sweet. No other symptoms.

DD2 - I craved cola and chocolate! Went off fish. Had morning sickness until second trimester!

dry/spotty skin,
less hairly legs,
Preferred sleeping on right side,

• girl on the wedding ring test.......
  
  We are expecting our baby BOY in December!

I've had 3 boys and 1 girl. The only thing that was different about having my daughter was that I had a really strong sense of smell all the way through xx

I had a high bump, craved pineapple, Boobs tripled and gained loads of weight everywhere (think that was my fault tho not baby's lol) didn't really get morning sickness though.

My two pregnancies were virtually identical - lots of sickness, high bump, heart rates over, craved sweet and salty things. No change in boobs, put on a bit more weight second time than first.

Had one DD and one DS.

I had almost all those symptoms (not the high bump though) with dc1 and 2 who are both boys.

This time I have a high bump, crave potatoes and oranges, have lost my sweet tooth, and feel very different so can't wait to find out what this one is.

I had b b g and only difference with g was no sickness or nausea (was chucking up with the lads) and smaller bump (smaller baby tho).

Obviously you actually know these old wives tales ate a load of old twaddle?
Still, it's really hard not to speculate, especially if you are secretly hoping for a particular sex (god forbid).
I remember feeling that it was the one thing in my life I had no control over and it was such a big thing that was decided in a split second and would be fixed forever. Roll on 20 week scan ;-)

I have had b,g,b. Was sick with dd rather than just nauseous as with boys. Had heartburn all the way through whereas with boys only at the end. All bumps have been out front but put more weight on elsewhere with dd. I also think I was crazier with my dd i.e. more hormonal and furiously nesting. This time I have had a much more similar pg to my dd but I still think it will be a boy! 6 weeks until I find out....

Girl pregnancy : put on 4 stone, carried everywhere, stretchmarks up my arms the lot, craved fizzy sweets & pickled onion monster munch , felt sick 24/7 from 6-20wks but was never actually sick, heartburn last 2wks.

Boy pregnancy : put on 4 stone, carried just at the front - like a football up my top, craved fried onions and tuna, felt sick 24/7 6-24wks, heartburn 24/7 24-41+6wks...

The heartburn = more hair is bullshit too. Dd had loads of hair, ds a tiny bit of fluff.

-lots of morning sickness,pretty much the same time every morning.
-constantly ate chocolate,melon and wotsits!
-weigh gain on hips.

• never really got a bump.(had her prem)

• was a vegetarian for 10years however my craving for meat got so bad I'm now not a vegetarian!!
