I work in a job where I'm on my feet all day (9am-6pm) and during the day I don't suffer much with swelling. Although from about 25 weeks I've not been able to wear my wedding/engagement rings but the swelling hasn't been noticeable at all.
I'm now 33+5 and for the last few weeks I'm still fine in work, but when I get home and sit down for longer than half hour with my feet up (and in the mornings) the swelling in my ankles, feet and hands is terrible and painful!
Today I have been pottering around the house and sitting down more than normal - my feet and ankles look like babies feet (so swollen they are pudgy, squidgy with no sign of bones!) and quite painful to walk on but my hands are fine.
I've mentioned this to my midwife who didn't really comment on it.
Is this normal? I would have thought I'd swell more being on my feet all day than not!
