Tips for getting some sleep?

Am only 28 weeks, but recently have been getting more and more uncomfortable at night. I always thought I slept on my side, but it's actually more sleeping on my front with one leg up, so I am very slightly tilted on my side. If I sleep like this now, baby protests and kicks the area flat against the bed. 3 nights this week, I've woken up on my back feeling horribly sick. And now, sleeping flat on my sides is giving me pain in my hips. I do have a long pillow between my legs and under my tummy, but just wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get comfy? This can't be the start of no sleep...there's still 12 weeks before baby is due!!

Try an extra pillow for your head. This helped me the last few weeks. I was in hospital for monitoring and was lay on my back and almost passed out. Am trying v hard to avoid that now! Good luck!

I an only 17 Weeks and have been getting this for the last month or so.

I have bought a feeding pillow from Argos for £15 and it is great! it is is a big curved v shape with soft fleece on one side and cotton in the other.

I have mainly used it under my left knee and through IYSWIM.

Satin pyjamas are my top tip for when you get bigger, so you can slither into position without waking up.

If you find yourself on your back though, you need to be raising yourself up a bit so you're not too squashed by the bump

I'd try a wedge behind so you don't roll onto your back, and try sleeping on a duvet too (that has helped ease my hip pain, as recommended by my physio :) )
