Weeks to go but so fed up!

I'm 35+6 with DC 4, and am feeling so utterly fed up and impatient. The nesting instinct has kicked in, but no sooner have I cleaned and tidied the house, then DCs and DH mess it up again. I just want it to stay sparkling all the time! Just got back from midwife appointment, and the baby's head is 1/5 engaged, so I'm hoping that baby does put in an appearance before 40 weeks. My midwife is going on holiday, so I'm not due another appointment for 3 weeks!

Anyone else not quite due yet but feeling fed up?

Me. And I'm only 27 weeks. Urgh. Feeling huge, sick and acid-y. I'm sure I enjoyed this part last time round!

Were your first 3 punctual?

Me. Am 32+5 and sick of feeling constantly tired, huge and never, ever being comfortable. ELCS booked for 39+2 so at least the end is in sight but I wish it would hurry up!

DD1 was a day early, DD2 was 9 days late, and DD3 was 11 days early. Hoping that this one is similar to DD3, but it's anybody's guess!

Me too. I'm 32+3 and feels like I still have forever to go, especially when I think of the possibility of being 2 weeks overdue. Struggling to be motivated for the last few weeks of work also. Hoping I'll feel less fed up when I go on mat leave and can(hopefully)catch up on some sleep. Do you remember how quickly the summer hols used to go by when you were a kid? Why can't the last trimester feel like that.

Oh god, don't even think about going overdue, it's just too disheartening.

I'm hoping the time will fly when dd starts pre-school in september and I actually have some time to myself. Maybe.

Am 32+5 and I really don't want her to come early as I have too much to do and am not finishing work till 40. On the other hand I am a big lumpy lump and permanently uncomfortable - and I can't believe I can go on getting bigger (and lumpier) for another seven weeks. Or even nine as DD was very overdue!

I don't have the size family you mentioned (this is number 1), but I'm 36+5 and I've truly had enough. Bit worried my nesting instinct hasn't come out yet, but hoping I get some energy soon - we're still trying to finish the house to try and move in before bubs arrives!

I can empathise completely though, I had had enough from about 30 weeks.

Totally sympathise with you (lthough not nesting yet, the house is a tip and i'm so grumpy i really couldn't care less at the moment!)
