Breech at 28 weeks - anything to worry about?

I had to have a scan a couple of days ago and have noticed that my notes say that the baby is breech.

I'm assuming that it's still small enough to move around a lot and just happened to be in that position at the time of the scan. Or am I being over optimitisic? Has he/she settled into his position and is likely to still be there at full term?

My DS was in the same position from 28 weeks, but having said that, this time they didn't even check at 28 week appt which was up he or she is, so they can't have been too concerned at this stage.

Loads of time for baby to turn. Definitely nothing to worry about at this stage. Mine turned at 38 weeks...

mine was breech at 28 weeks, head down at 31 and has changed between head down and transverse since then (34weeks) I wouldn't worry, MW start thinking about position properly around 36 weeks so you've got ages.

Pleeenty of time to turn, I really wouldn't worry yourself over it just yet. This little one was breech up til 31 weeks then turned head down.

Thanks for the replies ladies. I thought as such - just checking I didn't need to start getting myself into some weird and wonderful yoga positions to turn the baby around Wink
