How much bleeding is 'normal'?

I posted a few days ago as was having brown discharge for 7 days, for the last 2 it has now been bright red, with tiny mm size clots, but only when I wipe, however when I just went to BM-TMI but need advice-it literally dripped out of me. This makes me think straining makes it worse. My question is the doctor at EPU on Monday put me only daily aspirin to limit clots and help blood flow better as have previously miscarried, so it could be this which is making cervix bleed more, so should I take myself off it? I am only 5+1. Help!

Hello,

I didn't want to leave your post unanswered but I'm not really sure what to say other than you should probably call and speak to your GP or call the EPU for advice.

I've had bleeding I'm just over 6weeks. The best thing to do is rest, you could be having a threaten miscarriage... if its brown blood its Old and little clots isn't anything hope this helps :). I've bleed for nearly a week now, its got a lot lighter and its dark brown. no clots... I'm not worrying it wont make it stop. Don't stress about it. X

I called EPU they said they couldn't advise over the phone, so am now sat on train going to Brussels for weekend, so far it has got any worse, so I'm crossing everything it stays settled at least and hope a relaxing weekend helps-thanks for the advice.

I hope everything's ok.

The problem is it's very different for everyone. For one woman it may not be normal to have any bleeding at all, but for others (including me) it's more normal to have lots of heavy red bleeding for many weeks!

Just look after yourself and get to the EPU asap when you're back from your lovely weekend away.

Glad you are having a nice weekend and the symptoms are definitely a good sign, when I had my MC everything just seemed to stop and go away.

Good luck on Tues! x
