Don't know if I'm imagining it or it's actually moving? I didn't feel dc1 move until around 18 weeks???

I thought I felt movement at this point (very subtle, like bubbling or gentle flicks) & scan at 13wks seemed to show baby in that 'spot'. By 16wks, more kick-like. Now 22wks & feeling baby all over the place, & much more definite.

I felt this baby very early, around 12 weeks, but I felt DD at around 13-14 weeks so I wasn't surprised. I started feeling proper kicks this time from about 16-17 weeks and DP could feel it from 18 weeks.

I think it depends a lot on where the placenta and baby are lying. I've also heard you're more likely to feel it early if you're small but I don't know how true that is.

I could definitely feel my second moving at 12 weeks - from about 10 weeks in fact, though it was a few days before I was sure. So I expect what you're feeling is definitely your baby moving. When I had my 12 wk scan the sonographer told us my placenta was at the top on the back and said she wasn't surprised at all that I could feel the baby.

I think in general you feel second, and subsequent, babies move earlier, as you recognise it for what it is.

I'm 10w tomorrow and I'm sure i can feel something shuffling around in there! Dh thinks I'm nuts, but I felt something last couple of nights and sure enough when I put the Doppler on that's where the baby was!
I felt ds at 16w definately, and dd was giving me proper kicks at 14w, you could see my belly move by 18w with her! It seems I have ninja babies

I'm pretty sure I felt this one (DC2) moving around 11 weeks. DC1 I felt around 18 weeks or so.

I felt something at 11 weeks (very unexpectedly when I was lying in the bath, just concentrating and not breathing for a few seconds) - felt like a small wriggle and was quite low down, not where I expected a baby to be. And guess where the baby was a week later when I had my first scan...

Felt a few 'things' the other night too (around 13 weeks) while lying on the sofa but decided not to think about it too much as didn't think anyone would believe me anyway!

This is DC1 by the way, and didn't have any expectations at all that I would feel anything until a lot later

Me too - movement at 11 weeks with #2! I'm 38+6 now and she has been a vigorous wiggler and kicker all the way through.

Think it's because I have no abdominal muscles to speak of.

I swore I felt dd2 at 10 weeks and am absolutely convinced I did. I had the slight bubbling and thuddy feelings. Sod anyone who tells me different!!! I know my body

I felt dc1 move at 13 weeks, i was unsure at the time if it really was movement or just my imagination but as time has gone on it feels like a little version of the stronger kicks im getting now :)

I would say, based on my own second time that yes it is. Although when I told the sonographer this they looked at me like this Hmm. HCP's don't know everything though.....
