Think we found them in baby gap but also thought john lewis did them so who knows. And had hand-me-down ones from next baby.
Found them v handy as ds wriggled off separate mitts and had long nails!

Mothercare. Built in scratch mitts come as standard in the smaller sizes.

The ones we got from mamas and papas had them built in, that was about 18 months ago. (The multipacks, not the individual ones). They wore and washed really well too - bonus!

John Lewis ones have them but it doesn't say anywhere on the packet IIRC - so if you're searching for ones with 'built in scratch mitts' in the name, that might be why you can't find them.

Matalan has them too.

The Next ones don't look like mits but as thicker cuffs that you fold over. Might be why you didn't see them.

We got sleepsuits with built on scratch-mitts from Next and Mothercare.

Although we did get given an individual sleepsuit with Mothercare without scratchmitts, so maybe it's only the standard 3-pack sleepsuits that have them?

Next definitely have them, I bought some recently.

The terry cotton grows from mothercare in a pack of 3 were fab and had them built in.

Dd lived in hers for longer than 3 months (0-3 months) and I brought the next ones (3-6) till about 7 months too. Saved lots of scratches on her face at night!

OP, just to clarify, even though they are built in mitts, you cant see them. It's a bit of the cuffs that folds up and over their hands iyswim.

FannyPriceless · 28/05/2012 21:31

The Next design is really good. You can fold the cuffs over to make mitts, or back again to make ordinary sleeves. Note that Next sizes are smaller than others.

Sainsburys babygros have the sleeves that have the fold over bit. I don't think I ever used them but they look quite useful!

Go to Next. Their suits have by far been the best. Lovely colours and they wash so well compared to others. I'm very sad I have no need to buy any more of them at the moment. Grin

Yes, I find Next the best, which I am slightly gutted about as I have a hatred of Next Blush however I make an exception for DD as their DC clothes are goreat price and quality.

I also have some Sainsburys ones, and while the quality is good, I find the poppers at the legs gape a LOT and they arent even tight, so I see more of DDs legs than anything else. The gaps are so big that if she wriggles enough, she can poke her leg through the gaps between poppers.
