Hi, had my 28 week mw appt today, she found trace protein in my urine so is sending it off for a test, i have been stuggling to go to the toilet, and have pain near my bladder, but not a stinging when i pee iykwim, so am feeling crappy because of that, but,,,
I mentioned that i have been having sharp pain in my left elbow, so bad i can't use a crutch anymore (spd) with that arm, it doesn't matter what i do, small movements, gripping something or lifting something etc, it still shoots down my arm, it is horrible, especially since i use my arms a lot to help me get up and move about.
She didn't seem that concerned tbh, but i have sat here the rest of the afternoon wincing and crying at the pain in my elbow, trying not to aggrivate it, but nothing is helping.
She just said that it was common, but didn't give advice Hmm so i have booked an appt with the gp on tuesday, but i am starting to feel so depressed about not being able to do anything without being in constant pain, its either my spd, hips, back and thighs or my elbow, mostly all at the same time.

Can anybody tell me what has helped them with this kind of pain before, i don't have pins and needles, the pain comes/starts from the outside of my elbow which is why i think it is tennis elbow, but can't be sure.

i am just getting over having tennis elbow and the gp prescribed some anti inflamatory tablets because i had tried ibuprofen and it didnt work, also a gel to rub on (you can probably get something similar in the shop). physio advised to do an exercise - hold arms out infront of you with the back touching then cross one arm over the other (your good arm over your bad) link fingers and then pull your bad arm fingers backwards. Also a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a damp cloth placed on the pain several times a day. As well as rubbing the pain up and down not in circular motions.

this has helped but it has taken a few weeks. In the meantime rest it as much as possible

I can't take the anit inflamatory tablets as am 7 months pregnant, but will try to get the gp to refer me to physio.
