belly pain

Hi, anyone else had pain in their belly? Its about 2 inches from belly button, feels like it is in the belly wall rather than further inside and feels like a hernia/ ligament strain (not that i know what either feel like, but i imagine it does). Is this normal or should i be worried?

Hi there, I have had this too. I am 19 weeks. I think its round ligament pain and stretching. I am totally paranoid having had a tough time....I am telling myself not to worry, only panic if there is constant pain. Its hard not to worry, I am sure I am driving my partner mad with permantant questions........we should be enjoying the pregnancy but its difficult isnt it until you hold your baby :) x best wishes, Emma

THanks Emma, yes. I went to the doctor who said it will probably be just ligament pain. After al his poiking and prodding its even worse now - but we did listen to baby's heart beat and all that was ok so i guess i should just be please its me in pain and not something wrong. Take care x

Hey there Tiggy. So pleased you went to put mind to rest. They say relax ans enjoy pregnancy but I seem to be more paranoid by the week........if its not twinge watch its knicker checking........you go steady :) x
