The last three nights I have broken out in hives, the first night it was just a small patch on my leg, last night a bigger patch and on both legs. Tonight my legs are covered, all up my back, my hands and ears(!). It's driving me crazy as itching like mad and burning.

Has anyone had this? What did you do?

I'm going to get an appointment on Monday to ask dr about it. But thought in the interim would ask here.

Thanks.

Hello

Sounds like you should get it checked out. My skin has become very sensitive and dry since preggo and having to slap oodles of moisturiser on just to stop itching. Dry and itchy skin is fairly common but if it's more than that you should get the Dr to take a look. Don't shower/bath in water that is very hot as this can make it worse.

Good luck :)

I had a rash whilst pregnant which sounds similar to yours. The doc sent me to a dermatologist who said I was actually allergic to being pregnant and that it's not that unusual. I had to take antihistamines for the entire pregnancy to stop the itching. Get to docs tomorrow and get sorted out or the itching will drive you insane. Good luck.

I've got hives at the moment but I'm going back to the docs to check that's actually what it is cause I've had them for a week and there's no change.

What I would say is avoid using soap in the shower/bath and avoid perfumed moisturiser or anything like that. you can get emoilient to wash with from the doctors.
