Baby is very very active, more so that what DD was.
however it sometimes has *very erratic movements, they feel like shakes? fits? i have no idea. but not sure whether its just shuffling or what?

it does the majority of kicks, punches etc. but the shakey ones my tummy goes everywhere??

I had this in my first pregnancy, it was really weird, like the baby was having a fit. My midwife sent me to see a consulatant as my midwife wasn't sure what I was on about. the consulatant had heard of it before but said there was no explaination that they'd found but one theory they have is it might be down to the baby crying either way she wasn't to worried about it.
I remember the first time it happened i was sleeping on the sofa and it woke me right up, I thought I was having a fit, then I thought I must have dreamt it until it happened again later in the week.

I have it too. I assumed it was normal. Will mention it to the dr this week.

I've been having these too for the past couple of weeks (I'm 35 weeks now). I asked midwife about it on Friday as I never experienced this at all with dd.

Midwife was non plussed and said it was normal!

It's a weird feeling though!

Just a thought, but it's not baby having the hiccups is it? My bump really gets going (sometimes a couple of times a day) with the fairly rhythmic but quite vigorous shakes. Spoke to my midwife, and was lucky enough to have a set while I was in there, and she said that it was quite normal...
Hope all is ok for you!

The seizure feelings are definitely not hiccups. The hiccups are more like rhythmic bounces.

This feeling is more like the baby is shaking. Well, mine is anyway!

I had this in my first pregnancy... I was told they were probably the baby having a Moro (startle) reflex, which made sense to me! Anyway, all was fine with the baby!!
