I've been having migranes at least once a week/fortnight since about 5 weeks (I'm 13 now). They last for days and are like nothing I've had before.

How normal is this?

i only had a handful through my entire pregnancy with ds.

I read that headaches are common in early pregnancy, but I'm not sure about migraines - if in doubt, ask your midwife or GP?

Can really sympathesise (sp?). I have migraines when not pregnant but for the first few months of this pregnancy they where something else - full on things I haven't had for years, with aura, vomiting etc at least once a week. Not fun. It has slowed down though and got better around 5 months. Have a chat with your Dr - not all migraine medicine can be taken when pregnant (mine can but not when breastfeeding) and there might be something better if it is really affecting you badly (I was sick hourly for 12 hours at a time with mine, nice). Worth having on your notes as well.

For me, its hormone related and i think thats quite common - hope it gets better!
