Nursing bras

I know this has been posted a million times but can't find any of the old threads... Few questions...

Where is the best place to get measured?
When should I get measured?
Should I buy a sleep bra?
How many bras should I buy?
Is my size likely to change once I've established feeding and will I need new bras then?
Can you buy padded and undersides nursing bras?

Bravissimo is good for measuring and fitting but they don't have a big selection of nursing bras. I was fitted there and then ordered from figleaves (their own brand is very good, as is hot milk and I love elle macpherson), returned the ones that didn't fit. I was fitted about a week after DD arrived, until then I used one of my maternity bras that was drop cup. I have never used a sleep bra. I started with one decent bra and one not so decent and 7 months down the line have accumulated a few more! My size has stayed the same from that first measuring (except for the usual day to day fluctuations), I have no idea whether this is the norm or not. You can get underwired nursing bras but personally I have found they don't fit me as well as the soft cup.

Not that I'm an expert but this is what I did with DD:

I bought mine online, I got measured at debenhams but didn't like their styles.
I think they advise you get measured as late as possible. I think your back size can reduce a little after you give birth so get one that fits across your back snugly.
I only had 2 bras, probably could have done with 1 more as had a refluxy baby!
You will be slightly bigger at first due to full breasts (or engorgement if you're like me) so if buying before birth leave a little room in those cups! But mine lasted me the duration.
Not sure about padded etc, you'll likely use breast pads so may not want padded? x

You can get underwired ones but I'd say wait a bit they probably aren't best initially. Mine are from figleaves and they are by anita.
I finally found (with dc3 )the best bras IMO, they are really adjustable, soft and I like the removable pads so breast pads( I used washables, v comfy) or nipples don't show'. they are by bravado. I think John Lewis sells them and NCT. JL will measure but they come in S/M/L etc so v adjustable.

To add, I had 3 of the bravado ones, could sleep in them if nec. I got the underwired ones at a few months I think, but because I wanted to not because size changed. Now at 20 months I'm starting to wear normal bras again as I'm not feeding so much and finally loosing a bit of weight.
