WEIRD bulge....

I'm 26ish weeks, and have up until now had a fairly neat bump which points forward. However, yesterday I noticed that mu bump is all lopsided and i have a noticeable and weird bulge kind of on my side. Where my waist would be (if I still had one!). It isn't painful or anything. Is it just the baby being in a different position, or WHAT?

Thank you.

If painless could well be baby's position. Sometimes you can get baby to move by bouncing on a Swiss ball or lying on one side for a while.

I've had a lopsided bump for most of my pregnancy - I think it's just the position of the baby. Later in pregnancy DH & I would watch with Shock as the bump moved around and undulated.

more than likely it will be babies position. I've had a lopsided 'bump' for most of my pregnancy (i'm 32+1) and that's cos babies transverse with her bum stuck up in the air which gives me an odd bulge too. When you go for your midwife appointments though they should be able to which way your baby is lead

I get a lump, about where my waist was, it's not huge, but comes and goes....ongoing theory is feet jutting out...it's got bigger as LO's got bigger, and "pointier" and wigglier...and occasionally they poke in to my liver too...but no clear sign of an obvious 'foot'. I have a positional scan Thurs as she either has a really boney arse, or I have a 4/5 engaged arse...3 MWs now can't be sure.
The lopsidedness could be LO lying left or right. Still at 36wks this one likes to try and cram all of herself in my right occasionally.
I find lying on my left can ease the alien-style feet bursting out...as well as encouraging missyface to float left a bit.
