My bump has shrunk!

Eeep, 38 weeks today with DC2 and bump seems smaller, my neighbour even commented it seemed smaller! Is this normal? I've forgotten so much about pregnancy and DS isn't even 18mo yet, stupid brain.

I've been mega active today and not even that hungry, I would usually be climbing the walls with hunger by now but all I've eaten today is a muller corner and some of DS's bagel. I made a stollen earlier, maybe I'll eat that for dinner!

Sure it hasn't just dropped because the baby's head has engaged? Possibly even (given your loss of appetite) your body's gearing itself up for labour? Very exciting for you.

at 38wks sounds like baby has engaged making your bump appear smaller, won't be long now yay!

Oooh yay! I checked my notes and baby was 4/5th two weeks ago, wasn't expecting that as I didn't think seconds engaged until very late on. I really hope things are starting, I can't sleep any more and restless legs are driving me bonkers!
