This happened to me at 10wks, I called my midwife she said I was under GP care till 16 wks but as I had had prev scan with EPAU try them. I called EPAU they said we'd definitely like to see you but need a GP referral as you've been discharged. Called GP he went through the procedure over the phone briefly, apparently in my area they like you to do a preg test again, he said forget that because you need scanning regardless of the result. He faxed EPAU referral, and they made me an appointment for the following week. They weren't as speedy as normal because I had no pain or bleeding, they made it clear if that happened I call back and they'll see me sooner.

I was completely convinced it was all over, I'm now 40 + 4 with the same pregnancy Smile apparently it was just the placenta taking over baby was fine and I balled my eyes out in the waiting room afterwards.

Fingers crossed for you that everything is fine but you should contact someone, GP, MW, EPAU.

I've heard of it happening at 10 wks cause of placenta but I don't think that's the case if it's earlier??? This has been so up and down already!!! Thanks for sharing good luck on the birth of ur baby :)

Sometimes your symptoms get better for a few days then come back with full force!
It's a worrying time as pregnancy symptoms are all you can go on until you can feel any movement.

As with mum2JRC. Try not to worry. If you have some jobs to get done, do them now - my experience was that the symptoms come back a day or two later, but are much worse. So try not to panic but take advantage of feeling a bit better IYSWIM. Catch up on the laundry, finish the shopping, change the sheets & scrub the toilet in preparation for the vomiting and tiredness to start afresh over the weekend Wink

if it's any help, i'm about the same dates as you (8wks on Sunday) I think, and my symptoms have been coming and going. I think my body just might be getting used to things.... this is my first one though, so I've absolutely no idea what's right or wrong... :)

Also, I don't know if anyone else is doing this, but I'll be fretting about not having any symptoms at all - except for the excessive weeing, bloating, watery mouth, lack of appetite then eating for england, nice nails, spotty chin, obsession with potatoes and sausages, and then realise that maybe I do have some symptoms after all?!? Xmas Grin

Sometimes I'm concentrating on worrying about not having sore boobs or feeling sick so much that I forget all the other smaller ones (or am just getting used to them). :)

Are you in any pain or bleeding? maybe check with the EPU or call midwife if you are.

Wishing you a very merry christmas and hope the holidays are uneventful and relaxing for you. x x

Oh please try not to worry too much, sometimes these things happen. All my symptoms (chronic tiredness, sickness etc) completely disappeared when I was about 9 weeks and I was a nervous wreck up until I had my 12 week scan. I was convinced they were going to tell me the worst. As it was i'm now 26+5 and baby is perfectly healthy and very active.

goingmadtrying How are you feeling now? It's true I've heard of placenta taking over around 10 weeks (since it happened to me) but it can also happen a little earlier and would depend on how accurate your dates are, but I'm presuming as you know you are having twins you've already had a scan Xmas Smile

I did also have the days that some other ladies have mentioned here where symptoms would come in waves, some days I'd feel completely un pregnant and some days very pregnant. I'm glad some of your symptoms have come back.

Have a fabulous Christmas and hope to hear things are going well for you soon.
