I had mine today, the doctor checked position of the baby, filled in some consent forms then the midwife took blood samples, mrsa swabs then talked me through what will happen on the day - what time to turn up how long I am likely to wait on the wards etc. Not too much really. Good Luck.

Good luck, have you both been told you will need to self inject anti clotting injections for 7 days? I've never heard of it before so wondered if it was just due to my age and medical history?

I'm back, all was pretty straight forward, took blood and blood pressure and weighed me told me what would happen Tom.

I didn't get to see the anesthetic man (sp) but will see him in the morning, so couldn't ask about the injections.

Gosh I'm nervous can't stop shaking :(
