I've got fanjo on the brain today I've posted about it twice!!

I've just had a bath, I'm 23 weeks today and to put it Bluntly I can no longer shave down below, I usually take the lot off!

Can we have a Brazilian, i really can't stand having hair!!!

You can have one, but bear in mind that your skin might be more sensitive than before.

YOu could get one of those personal trimmers and set it on the first position, or take the guard off, they are pretty easy to use when you can't see down there!

You may be more sensitive, but many therapists will use a different, more gentle type of wax for intimate waxing such as Brazilians and Hollywoods. Just let your beauty therapist know if it gets too much.

I just had a standard bikiki wax fairly early on and bled a bit out the folical holes...freaked out the poor love that did it, but not that surprising as you have so much more blood pumping around there. Am seriously thinking about getting it all gone again in the next few weeks (currently 35wks). Will make maintainance post-birth much easier. They can always test on your upper, inner thigh first. If you're gonna react, you'll probably react there...
Just warn them you're pregnant, so they can avoid creams/waxes etc with certain oils in them.

Yes, of course! I had them constantly throughout pg and last one, just 2 days before birth! So much nicer in the aftermath wrt lochia or stitches.

I always bleed a bit from some follicles though - whether pg or not.

smartypants knew I was spelling follicles wrong. Just couldn't for the life of me work it out...

Hurts more when preggers but I have found that the hair grows back so much slower I've gone 8 weeks between waxes and tbf could have gone longer cuz just doesn't come back as quick apparently this happens to some women during pregnancy xxx

It does hurt a little more, but if your therapist is experienced, she will be more gentle and do it in smaller sections. I had a hollywood a few days ago and am due in about 12 days time. Bear in mind though that as you usually shave, your first experience is going to hurt as shaving will have made your hair thicker!
