How long did it take to conceive?

Hello.

Just popping by from the conception thread.... I know they say that 6 months is an average to conceive, but I was wondering if I could do a bit of a poll census.

Thank you!

20 months for us now nearly 6 weeks pregnant.
Took ovarian drilling and 100mg of clomid but got there in the end. Good luck I know how frustrating it is waiting for your BFP

3 months - concieved the first month we used pre-seed - I always wonder if we would have conceived that month without it...

With 2 of my DC, I was on the pill. One of my sons we had sex once without using contraception and my other son we used a condom that split so I took the map and still there was a little blue line.
The only one of our 5 that was planned took about 5 mths but that was after a m/c.

8 months. Two months after being told there was no way we would conceive naturally (semen issues) for the second time in 4 years (after one DC and one MC!)

The month we got pregnant we threw every thing at it. Sex every day for ten days (twice one day!), preseed lube, no alcohol for 2 months previously, DH vitamined up to the eye balls and also abstinent. Good luck!

DS1 - assumed it would happen quickly, took 9 months.
DS2 -assumed it would take at least the same amount of time and probably longer, was pregnant less than 24 hours later...

Months and months of fertility treatment with DC1

2 weeks with DC3

Years of veering between being a bit lax and being fastidious with the contraception

Family planning is clearly beyond us.
