pains in early pregnancy

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I could really do with some reassurance/information about this. I'm 7+4 and for the last two days have had lots of odd pains - in particular, a stitch like pain on my left side around my ribcage, and also an achey pain in my groin (basically where my leg and body join) also on the left.
I've had 4 miscarriages and just wondering if pains like these can ever mean something other than mc.

Thank you.

I have had quite a bit of pain in various ways, lots of stabbing pains in various bits of my stomach, and the achy pain that you describe has plagued me for weeks, I had my 12 week scan last friday and all way ok so far - if your worried then head for the EPU after 4 miscarriages im sure they would be more than happy to scan you and put your mind at ease

Oh thank you for that, and glad things are going well for you.
I did actually have a scan at 7 weeks (which was fine) and have another booked for a week from now. It's hard to know what counts as "normal" in a pg when you've had so many go wrong (I have a ds - but I have no memories of his pg at all any more!)

I had a stitch like pain really early on, in fact it was the first 'sign' I was pregnant both times. Very weird and I've never heard anyone else who's had this until I saw your post. I also had a lot of achiness further down. I had an early scan for the first pregnancy but everything was normal and even though I had these symptoms both times, I fortunately didn't have a miscarriage. They told me it was just things being stretched. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thanks Marylou, nothing really reassures me I suppose (only time, and lots of scans!) but I really wanted to know if anyone had felt like this and got a baby at the end of it - good to hear your story.
