Id say its worth a mention to your midwife just in case, not that I know anything about such things this is my first baby

The mucus plug is usually thick like jelly and clear/bloody - if it's a greeny colour it could be an infection so you might want to get it checked out, I have had a similar thing in the last few weeks but all sorted out now. Worth mentioning to your midwife I think....hope that helps!

Thanks everyone

I have calmed down a little now. I have tried calling mw but no answer. I have scan and consultant on Tuesday so will tell them then, if MW does not call me back.

Thanks

i'd ring the doctor and ask for an appointment if it is an infection you don't want to leave it unattended.

"If your discharge is yellow or green and frothy with an unpleasant odor, you may have trichomoniasis, a common sexually transmitted infection. Other possible symptoms of trichomoniasis (or trich) include a red, irritated, or itchy vulva or vagina and discomfort while urinating or during intercourse.

If your discharge is foul-smelling or frothy or yellow, green, or gray, you might have a different kind of vaginal infection or a sexually transmitted infection, even if you don't have symptoms of irritation, itching, or burning."

I lost the mucous plug with baby no. 2 at 39 +1and definitely knew straight away that it was the mucous plug although I had never seen one before LOL It's quite a big lump of jelly like stuff mixed with some blood. I didn't go into labour though.
I suppose in your case the fact there's no blood makes it very unlikely that it's the plug. Is it a considerable amount, like to almost fill a toilet paper dab, or just a small amount? I have some whitish discharge very frequently while pregnant and it's totally normal but if it was much more or if it had a funny color or smell I would definitely seek professional advice.
Keep us posted and good luck!

It was only a little bit but i had the same last night only once and again today (only once, so not all the time!). Its creamy/white/green in colour, does not smell and looks like slim/jelly teuxture (can not believe i'm saying this on here Blush.

Its my second child and i think i had the same with him!

There is no other symptoms and my first child was born at 38 weeks and i'm 31 weeks with DC2 so its not impossible that this baby could come early.

I did a pee samply last week and there was sugar and white blood cells in it so they sent it to lab, i got MW to check results and it said extra groth when tested but that may or may not mean i would go on to have a uti so they will retest tomoro with another sample.
