Did anyone use injections up to 12 weeks and then stop on gps advice? History of mc but no firm diagnosis of clotting disorder.

I have been prescribed them for the duration. Not quite a firm diagnosis but one positive and one borderline result. I presume they were prescribed to you by the hospital not the GP, so perhaps you could ask him/her to refer you back to the hospital before coming off them.

I had to inject for the full term - but was induced 2 weeks early to give me a chance to come off the Fragmin and get it out of my system before I went into labour.

My second pregnancy, I didn't need to inject but had to take a small dose of aspirin throughout.

Pip, did they explain why you did need it for first but not second pg?

It was because I was diagnosed with SLE, but my blood clotting results came back borderline on the first pregnancy - so the consultant decided to err on the side of caution and get me to inject.

Second time around, having had a successful pregnancy and labour first time, he decided that I didn't need the Fragmin although my results were still borderline (hence the aspirin).
