Need a bit of advice girls - my LMP is telling me that I am around 7 weeks ar the moment, however, I have already got a significant bump. Could it be that I am a bit further on than originally thought?

it could be that or could just be water retention/bloating that alot of people tend to get at the early stage. I have bump envy though 19+3 and still nada

Ahh that makes more sense! Lack of midwife is making life very difficult in terms of questions haha. You can have mine! I'm already starting to look like I'm carrying a small car under my top!

lol its aweful theres such a long wait with little contact from health professionals and when your trying to keep it quiet you can't exactly go and ask anyone you know! I found out at 5 weeks and didn't see a midwife until 9/10 weeks! Every little niggle and pain you question and 9 times out of 10 its normal

Yep very normal - I couldn't do my jeans up from about 6-7 weeks. Mine went down a couple of weeks ago and has started to show again now but hopefully less to do with bloat/fat now and more actual baby (13 weeks).

I am expecting my second baby and at seven weeks already have a bump. It's like my body has just reverted to pregnant mode !

I had a big enough bump at 10 weeks for a colleague to ask if I was pregnant. I was really bloated and constipated in first trimestre.

i thought i was imagining it! I had a bump at 7/8 weeks couldnt do up my jeans and had put on 12 lbs!!! Im now 10 1/2 weeks and my stomache has gone down abit and iv lost 3 lbs so it must have been down to water retention. My tum is still bigger than i think it should be this early on. Im trying to hide it until 12 weeks, so for the first time ever have not been pleased with this super hot weather, but once i hit 12 weeks and tell everyone im hoping i get a big bump quickly, im a little bit jealous every time i see a women with a big bump i really want one so i feel pregnant!

Same here. No chance of fitting my jeans by 8 weeks. Had to buy a size up. Weirdly haven't put on any weight though, so guess it's water retention from gallons of de-caff tea.

Can't be long to go before you see a midwife though. Congratulations and good luck!

I'm 11 weeks with DC#2 and have already been offered a seat on the tube/train more times this pregnancy than during the whole of the last one! Either people have become more polite or I'm already looking enormous!

12 weeks and (what feels like) an enormous bump for this stage!! This is my 3rd pregnancy. Was holding it in at work until I could tell e'one. Seem to have sprung outwards even more this week! Really worried that if it continues at this rate I'll need a wheelbarrow to carry it aroud in 3rd Trimester. Have awful bloating/wind/constipation though....

Second time around I was in maternity jeans around the time my af didn't arrive! My body basically said oh shit not again! I had an obvious belly to then point where people I told (at the stables for safety reasons if I fell off horse or got mashed whilst handling) they thought I was about 5 months. It vanished totally about 12 weeks so i went back to normal jeans and then came back with a vengeance a few weeks later about 16 weeks. Bizarre but it was just bloat.

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow with second pregnancy. I have a "fat" bump at the moment. Soft and not pregnant looking at all. But every morning I wake up and it's quite firm and I think hurray! Then I have a wee...
