How do you stop feeling so stressed all the time when you're pregnant.

I can feel the tension in my whole body - how do I get rid of it? I can't go down the pub and get wasted or seem to escape it?

I would recommend getting a natal hypnotherapy CD to listen to before you go to bed. I went on a course as well when I was pg with ds which I would highly recommend, but I bought the hospital birth one from here: www.natalhypnotherapy.co.uk/7.html and it was really lovely to listen to, very calming and I ended up going into hospital for an induction very calm indeed! Good luck

Make yourself some homemade playdough and just play with it. It is a great stress reliever.

It's hard isn't it. I find pregnancy yoga really helpful, either a class or a DVD. HTH

baths, record crap on telly and watch it when yr other half is not there, chocolate, sing loudly when on your own unless you have a good voice, write lists and prioritise a few things a week, oh and breath!

I thankfully don't get stressed, but started a prenatal yoga class last week mainly to help with hip problems i have and it is very relaxing. I think it would be really benefical if you are stressed. They run a weekly class for an hour in my local children's centre and it's only £2.50 as session. It's great to go to a class as there is nothing else for you to do when you are there but relax and have time for yourself. I'd highly recommend it.

I am with Jessabell - Yoga is fab.

Through Yoga I was lucky to be given the number of a FABULOUS lady who does pre-natal massages. I saw her once a week and it helped me a lot... and I mean a lot!

I wasn't sleeping well, I had all sorts of aches and pains at 5/ 6 months & was stressed to death with house renovation plus work.

Soaking in the bath when I thought I was about to murder someone was very helpfull too :o

The only thing stressing me out is everyone else! I might just lock myself away for the next 17 weeks...
