Pregnancy

One good thing about early pregnancy!

Obviously apart from the obvious bundle of joy at the end... I have finally found something good about been 12 weeks pregnant!

My nails are growing beautifully! I have always had rubbish soft nails that grow and immediately break. But at the moment my nails are longer and stronger than ever before- bonus!

Sadly my throwing up is still having to be controlled with drugs and I have horrid headaches- but hey ho!
Anyone else got something good about early pg?

Lol, you can still see your feet. I'm almost 37 weeks and miss them.

Telling people. That was definately the best bit for me.

I basically felt like I had a 12 week hangover so needed something positive!

I was just admiring my nails today (and that is the ONLY thing I can admire at the mo!) and I am 9 + 3. I remember with DS1 they also grew so well.

Other good thing about early pregnancy: .......................er.............................uhm.......................................er......................................Sad

oh and for those who are asthmatic like me - breathing!!! Seems like I am out of breath all the time - dreading the next few weeks :(

My hair looks shinier than ever! And like you, long nails. Though I'm 27 weeks now so it can last!!

I was throwing up on an almost hourly basis and my boss kept out of my way.

Yes oops and err demanding stuff Blush like breakfast in bed at weekend!

Reading magazines, anticipation of all the extra shopping.

Hot baths for my sore back gave me an excuse to soak and read for longer and to buy more bath oils etc.

beesok I haven't been able to sleep on my front since about 7 weeks. Firstly my boobs are agony and secondly any pressure on my stomach makes me feel sick so sleeping on it is definitely out.

Still my nails are lovely now you mention it. I knew there had to be something good about it :o

Hiding my boobs have sadly hardly grown - maybe 1 cup size? Angry what a waste of hormones...
on the other hand - my hair is super shiny and in great condition and also I feel like I had laser hair removal on legs - not that I was that hairy to begin with but now I only need to shave once every 6 weeks!! It's awesome :)

Oooo...beesok you are making me terribly jealous!

I'm only 11 weeks and none of my dresses now fit over my heaving chest. Also I never used to be very hairy at all, now I think I am morphing into Mr Tumnus my legs are so furry [sulky face]

No change for me - hair, nails, boobs all stayed the same, but I suppose I didn't gain any weight due to the nausea.

But the excitement and wonder of early pregnancy, before you've told anyone, is truly amazing! Planning how to tell people is great too.

Hiding you can blame it on the baby :P I'm carrying a girl and apparently that why I'm less hairy :)
well, according to the good ol' wives at least! Still jealous about boobs - had small ones all my life and was hoping for some cleavage finally! Maybe when my milk comes in but that will hardly be sexy Envy

Nobody has mentioned that nobody calls you fat to your face when you are in the first tri.

Beesok, my boobs have done absolutely nothing too!
