Heeeere am I floating in a tin can....

Yes, I have sat and sobbed to Space Oddity.
Poor Major Tom!

I also cried while feeding the cat because he "looked hungry".

What are your shameful sob stories?

Standing in the bubble bath aisle of the supermarket, unable to choose between Forest Scents and Coral Calm or whatever and sobbing because there was too much choice and of course if I couldn't buy bubble bath, I'd be a crap Mum. They had to take me away and give me tea.

I also had to be held back in the queue of the same supermarket, same pregnancy because the old man in the front of me had a basket with value soup, one tin and dog food, one tin. Nothing else. I think I was trying to adopt him at the time but got a bit hysterical.

It's probably the strip lighting in those places.

DH poured too much custard on my last slice of cornflake tart.....(Blush)

And he didn't drain the water off my pasta bologense and ended up with that watery soupy stuff on my plate...

Both food related (blush) but I sobbed my heart out!

Oh and I dropped a spoon 4 times whilst makin a cuppa & I grabbed the whole load of teaspoons from the draw and threw them on the floor. Hubby finds me half hour later sobbing on the floor surrounded by cutlery.... Bastard hormones teaspoons

I seen a little girl at Easter over at Tesco dressed in a bunny costume.... I cried like a baby. :(

Then Futurama had a bit in it like the movie Hachi, yet again I cried. :(

I hate Major Tom at the best of times.

I cried because a lorry pulled out in front of me on the M25 without indicating. He didn't cut me up, there was loads of room, but I howled.

I cried at Nanny 911.

The little boy wouldn't be left at bedtime. He clung onto his Dad hysterically. Then the Dad explained that he gets deployed to Afganistan for months at a time, and the little boy misses him and worries about him when he's gone Sad

Dimples - food ones are the worst. I sat in bed and waited for Dh to come back from work and fetch me toasted bagel and orange juice.

Oh and I cried at the Gok Wan thing where the women get naked. I think it was the first ever episode and I identified with the woman who hated her body so much Blush

I burst into tears in Tesco as well! For me it was the Mother's Day cards earlier this year.

Lots of songs get me, The Edge by Lady Gaga, The Ellie Goulding cover of Your Song, Dear Mr President by P!nk had me going at work the other day at the line "Let me tell you about hard work, minimum wage with a baby on the way."

It's such a relief to read this, I was starting to feel like a freak! Someone at work asked how I was feeling the other week and I immediately burst into tears. And there's an RSPCA advert (the one about who will look after your pets when you die, with the lonely cat missing his owner) that I bawl at Every. Single. Time.

On the other side of the emotional coin, I screamed at DH for 15 minutes because he swapped the teatowel for a clean one - which didn't match the oven gloves...

With DD, I confused DS (then 2 yrs) by being unable to keep the tears back everytime the spring song came on cbeebies (would have been in 2008), mostly because of how proud the lead girl's mum would have been. Also a lot of tears at every local running race we watched (DP is keen runner), again thinking how proud the parents must be. Its very not me!

Oh yeah, I cried my eyes out when I completely forgot DS packed lunch for the school trip (preggo brain). I cried all morning, even though teachers and adult helpers assurred me that there was plenty of spare food and drink for him. :( I felt so sorry for him!!

Obviously I'm in the minority but I seem to have gone the other way. Normally I'm a bit of a crier at adverts, the old man with the soup would have really got me before, but since I've been pregnant I'm a hard ass -no more tears!

I cried because we went to the wrong cinema, walking past the correct one. They initially wouldnt let us swap our tickets but I basked my little eyes out, hysterically gesturing at my huge belly (I was truly massive) repeating 'but I can't walk there in five minutes I can't and it was twenty pounds and I'm having a baby and I can't waste twenty pounds because what type of a mom does that make me??' the poor teenager behind the desk looked petrified and let us in.

I asked DH to crush me some ice to eat and he mixed it with crushed rocket ice lollys....getting it totally wrong...it was my last tray of ice and I wept.

Also when DH "took too long" to unwrap my fish and chips.

Only 7 weeks but have already cried on reading the end of Bill Bryson's book - neither here nor there - when he is looking at Asia and thinking he could travel on but decides to go back home to his pregnant wife and lawn that needs mowing.

Oh, and while we're on adverts, the Cancer Research one with the old man who is sitting alone at the end after all the happy stories has me bawling.
