Clear mucus at 24 weeks! (sorry TMI)

Hi, sorry this is Blush.
Last might I discharged Blush Blush Blush a small (5 - 10p) amout of very thick, clear mucus. The only time I have seen anything like this come out of my body was when I lost part of my plug with DS (but then it was about twice as much and I was 41 weeks)
Bit of back story. DS kicked me in the bump on saturday night - hard. Bump went mad for about half an hour afterwards but then settled down. Since then I've had period like pains but put it down to stretching (I look more like 34 than 24 weeks).
I'm not overly worried (well trying not to be) but I'm just curious if this is normal? I've never really been a discharging type girl (thank goodness) so I'm unsure.
Thanks for any replies. x

I am a discharging type of girl and am lucky to remain in the same pair of knickers for a day! Only during pregnancy I will add.

Did you get checked out after saturday night.

Maybe ring your midwife and have a chat.

No I didn't because we were away for the weekend visiting PIL and my parents.

Might be worth just having a check to be on the safe side. It will also help you stop worrying.

I think I'll ring MW like you say, worth a check

Typical. Have you got antenatal clinic number it is sometimes possible to talk to a sister there and they will advise you on what to do next if anything.

Hello
Just to let you know that MW has rung and has told me to keep an eye on it.
Also to keep a check on baby movement and spend some time with a cold drink to see if that will get it going.
Need to take DS out for a little walk though first so will lie down when we get back and see how things go.

ok, just bumping as a little worried now. I lay down this afternoon and bump moved a little but since then nothing. Bump usually moves most in the evening so at around 6pm I was telling myself to see how tonight goes and go in hosp in the morning if baby not moving. Anyway it still hasn't and i'm panicing.
