Pregnancy

when did you start feeling REALLY big?

I've been managing ok up until now but since I turned 30 weeks I have been feeling exhausted and well just huge. Finding it such a chore to bend down to pick up my lovely daughter's toys that she leaves all over the place day and night.
I know it can only get worse before it gets better though :(

Well the undergrad at work took to telling me last week that I'm massive and I'm going to have a massive baby. :( That was the start of me feeling really big, I'm 35 + 4

I'm 30 weeks too and feeling pretty huge. My waist has expanded to 36 inches and I'm struggling to stand or sit on the floor for long. Everything feels squashed when I lean forward and it makes me breathless. I don't remember feeling so big so quickly with DS, and he was a huge baby!

Thats not too bad going licorice. Why does everyone have to have an opinion on how big your baby will be ?! :(
I had it in my last pregnancy too but dd was only 7.2lbs (not tiny, but certainly not huge!)
I'm going to measure my waiste cattle and compare it to yours! Grin

At 42 weeks I was going to explode

I'm due in a couple of weeks and have felt cumbersome since about 34 weeks. You know that changeover to not being able to turn over in bed/get up without grunting and using your limbs as levers? That sort of big. I've also started to get heartburn around the same time so assume it's just the baby being big enough to crush every internal organ I have.

About 26-28 weeks both times. I didn't get much bigger after that with DC2, but with DC1 I must have doubled in size - I was enormous by 42 weeks when I gave birth. I was one of those women people stare at in the street and whisper 'must be twins' Grin

Do you think you tend to get bigger in subsequent pregnancies maybe as the tummy muscles are already stretched maybe?
I didn't have much of a tummy before dc1 but I gained a lot and never lost it really inbetween so I guess I am still carrying that extra bit from before too.

It was around 30 ish weeks for me too

However on Saturday I was viewing houses with my ma and pa. One house had a porch door that was one of those which opened in the middle. The owners had opened one half; there was no chance my ass was getting through there. They had to open the other side for me Sad

I'm not huge, the doorway was the size of a normal single door that's my story and I'm sticking to it

Ha ha - Pudding2be, made me giggle! Am pregnant with DD3 and began feeling big around 30 weeks, and nearly 35 weeks and struggling to bend down to pick things up off the floor. Got my pregnancy waddle going now too in the last couple of days. I believe I am bigger this time around but relatives and friends all comment that I was bigger the last two times. In fairness I still have 5 weeks to go so I am gonna get bigger still.

Only plus side is that the damaged tummy muscles from the previous pregnancies has allowed this baby to ride low throughout most of the pregnancy so not suffered so much with the breathlessness this time around.

:) pudding....I struggle at the checkouts in Asda!
I find it so annoying when people just stand there and watch you having to squeeze through somewhere.

Realised I was no longer a size 10 when I went to go through the bedroom door and scratched my belly button on the door mechanism.

Began to feel uncomfortable a couple of weeks ago, so 30-31ish. Not long to go [sighs]

I did have until yesterday. I tried the pram I bought, but where the car seat attaches is faulty as it kept sticking. I took it back to mothercare and ended up buying a more expensive one Blush. I've got the car seat but the rest won't be here for a week to two weeks.

I'm secretly hoping sods law might work and I'll have the baby before the pram arrives Grin

How long have you got left?

Not long now redexpat, what is your due date? :)
Thats a bit rubbish pudding :(
I have been trying out our new pram/pushchair with our nearly 2 year old and she love it!! Mum sent us some bottles and change bag yesterday. :)
I was 3 days early with dd1 pudding so there is hope Grin

I'm due October 19th!

Im 36+ 2 now and feel enourmouse.

Have been feeling pretty big since about 32 weeks ish.
I do have an especially large bump (though am assured have an average size baby inside i huge bump!)

I have had to move my seat back a click cause bump was hitting steering wheel at about 34 weeks. (At about 30 weeks i couldnt see it being an issue at all as there was so much room)
Well last night (after tea) my bump was rubbing the steering wheel then too, so need to move it back 1 more notch.... but still need to reach the peddles! GRR
