Does a Maclaren Cot (for Buggy) need a Mattress?

I am being induced on Thursday and just realised - I have no idea if my pram needs a mattress. The women I bought it off did not mention anything and I am not seeing anything on the internet?

I had one of those. I don't think there was any separate mattress with it, certainly not anything that didn't already just come with the cot. x

Good ... I was thinking that it just need a bit of padding at the bottom, but I keep seeing other prams/cots with full mattresses and bedding and it made me realise I had not thought of it!

Phew ... on less thing on my list.
