Restless Legs?

30 weeks and my legs have started to feel weird in the evenings when I sit or lie. Not itchy just weird right on the inside and I can't get comfy.

Bad description I know but does this sound familiar to anyone?! Any ideas what might help?

yep, that's restless legs. Welcome to the club. I get it more when sat down - esp when I have the laptop on me! Getting overtired will usually make it worse - as for what helps, apart from moving them not much I'm afraid. Another of the joys of pregnancy... :)

I'm 33wks and have been suffering with the same thing for about 3 weeks. Advice I've read is to have a banana, or drink tonic water before bed! I've found that the nights are worst, and if I don't have a bath before bed I'm really uncomfortable. So I've been having a warm bath & massaging my legs every night, which seems to help. Also try stretching your legs, rotating ankles etc to keep them moving.

Sorry to hear you're all suffering too! Misty you're right it definitely gets worse when I'm overtired. Right am sending dh out for tonic water and bananas today! Must say though it's not yet as bad as the killer heartburn I had with DD!

Oh the joys - 10 weeks to go! Smile

Caffeine can apparently make it worse as well.
