Anyone else really really excited about the baby? ;)

Of course, 99.9% percent of pregnant women are/will be and sorry for a silly thread but just got back home from a shopping trip where, among other things, picked up a few bits for our baby girl (due in October) and suddenly it hit me - I am so so so happy to be pregnant and can't wait for her to be born!!! I laid out all the little outfits I bought and just felt this overwhelming feeling of happines :)

Tomorrow it will be back to usual pregnancy worries, tiredness, running around etc etc but just wanted to savour the moment ;)

I'm having a little girl in October too and am getting to the point where I cannot contain my excitement anymore.

I cannot wait to give her a cuddle for the first time!

I envy people I see out with their LO's Envy

I'm about to burst with excitement. I'll be 32 weeks on Sunday and it's like waiting for Christmas. I keep looking at DS and thinking of everything I feel for him and I'm going to have another DC who will be just as loveable.

If I make an excited "squeeeee" sort of noise will I have to leave MN forever?

Hi LDNmummy - I remember you from the October club but haven't really kept up with that thread - too many posts Blush
I know exactly what you mean - I keep peering into buggies to take a look at tiny babies and it just makes me want to cuddle mine so much!

CBear6 am so jealous ;) I have another 3 months left! This is WORSE than waiting for Christmas!! :)

me too! Grin Grin I have just got back from a baby stuff shopping trip, and wish I had the energy to do more nesting type stuff! I know what you mean about laying out all the clothes, I have also got out all DS's old stuff and sat sentimentally sniffing them Blush The three-year-old-dust smell hasnt even lowered my excitement HmmGrin What IS it about those teeny tiny all in one suits that makes us feel so warm and squishy?

Anyway, am a bit knackered now and trying to think of what kind of nesting things I can do from the comfort of the sofa. Apart from making lists, cant come up with much. Ideas anyone?

due in November and just bought three things on the internet - oops

speaking of Internet shopping (yes, you ladies are bad influence!!) what do you think of this:

www.amazon.co.uk/Puj-Tub-Soft-Foldable-White/dp/B002WWF4IM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

Stumbled across it as I was browsing for other stuff - we don't have space in our bathroom to store a bulky bath tub, I don't like all those tummy tub things and don't want to bend down on floor for months so this seems like a great idea but was hoping more experienced Mums would point out "immediate" faults :)

I'm lurching between being excited and scared/nervous at the moment. I'm due beginning of September, and have just about bought the basics, I keep going and looking at the tiny sleepsuits all folded up ready :)

Re working from the sofa, I have a new bills file to organise our finances, and some knitting to start

Oh no no no JimmyChoo17 this is the "excited" thread, we're not mentioning the L word here :)

That will be the topic of another panic thread that I will probably start soon - right now am happy being in denial in cute baby grow land ;))))))))))))

I really held off on the shopping for a long time but at some point just couldn't help myself Blush I figured a good 20 wk scan was enough of an excuse!

Now I think I have to stop! ;) My mum and MIL, however, only just started shopping - we need a big spare closet ASAP ;)

Oh my god yes!! Can't wait for the mini one to be here. I literally do not know how I will contain myself if horrendously late.

I know it's very sappy but I've never experienced love at first sight and I get the feeling I'm going to find out what that feels like soon!

beesok I go from denial to submission that it's gonna happen so I'll just deal with it to excitement!

I started shopping from 20weeks to spread cost out. There are so many sales every few weeks it's great and you'll be able to pick up deals at asda baby events, sales justify spending lol! I have to say I saved loads of money spreading it out and fight some right bargains. Have been lent a few things but wanted some new stuff in case I put myself thru this again!

In fact to celebrate hitting 40weeks...maybe I should go online now ha ha ha! :)

Woke up with back ache so online shopping is def the way forward....And very lethal...highly recommend amazon!

some familiar faces on here - hello everyone Smile

collie love your Mr Men suits! so cute.

I agree that buying/examining/organising baby clothes is definitely the cure for worrying about the L word!!!

I'm due end of november, and I've just started to feel movement.
so that makes me feel very excited Grin

I get my 22week scan in a fortnight, and it'll be different from the first scan - at the first scan, it just didn't feel real, like it was just a random moving picture on the screen, but now i can feel it moving, i know it's real.

very odd, but very exciting too Grin

I'm 29 weeks and soooo excited! Have been through the rollercoaster of emotions the past 6 months: excitement at BFP, then tired and sick for WEEKS, then worried as didn't feel movement until 21 weeks, then excitement again at finally feeling the baby...

Then it died down a bit as there was still sooooo long to wait. Then DH and I went to our first antenatal class yesterday and we both came out almost jumping with excitement! Blush

Seeing the delivery room and learning exactly how a baby (should) come out, and what the hospital procedure is for the two hours following the birth made it all so much more real. Just another 3 months to wait....argh!!!!!

they also have a REALLY cute sesame street set and super man grow! Smile

I may have also bought some more grows, combat trousers and a hoodie in the evil Next sale yesterday. I may have!!!

...looks around for DH and hides credit card.....
