I'm 31+4 with DD and I'm not carrying anywhere near as big as I was with DS but I'm also getting lots of "you're huge!" comments and "you got how long left!? You look ready to go now!".

With DS I was 58" around my equator at 39 weeks. The bump measurement the MW does was always a few cm ahead too. This time around my bump measurement has, so far, matched up to the number of weeks I am.

Ah so its not just me! My bump has been low throughout and in line for dates just very sticky outty! Was just wondering if it would keep goin and if my tape measure would be big enough Wink

I get loads of comments - but my measurements have consistently matched up to the number of weeks I am, so I am putting it down to people just forgetting how damn big you get when you carry a baby!

It's doing my head in as I feel like Jabba the Hutt as it is without people commenting, but I just try and let the comments wash over me now (as opposed to getting really annoyed which I did earlier in the pregnancy!!)

DS was a HUGE bump. I measured 2+ at each stage... I weebled my way through my last 2 months of PG

He was born at 41+5, and weighed a measly 6.11. It was all fluid

I always got it and at 39 weeks I was 5'4" tall and 5'2" around!
DD was born at 42 weeks and weighted 8lb 10oz so not small or huge.

Totally agree with MsChanandlerBong and when you have your gorgeous Newborn you will be told how tiny tiny they are even when like mine not tiny at all, it really made me worry for a while!

People just forget what a pregnant lady should look like and how small a newborn baby really is.

My bump is really high but long (carried high with DS too) so right now I go boobs-bump-legs, it makes it look bigger than it is because one just connects onto the other.

DS was 9lb 3oz so my huge bump was mostly all him and fluid, the MW said I had loads of amniotic fluid when I finally let her break my waters at 10cm. This bump being smaller makes me hopeful DD will be smaller.

I only measured with ds1, he was my biggest bump and I think I was 58" Shock can't remember at what point that was, but a hospital gown in no way or shape fitted round me, it was comedy large though. He was 9lb10oz with litres and litres of fluid.

Dd was quite large too, despite being the smallest weight born, ds2 was actually pretty normal sized (for me anyway).

I'm measuring +3/4cm down my bump at 28 weeks but only 40 inches around my belly button at 31 weeks. I think my main issue is that I am short an thin everywhere else
