I went to the local market today (as i do every Thursday) for our fruit and veg.

Anyway it went into 3 bags, and the guy said can you carry it all... i said can i just leave a bag here and i'll come back for it.... and despite a MASSIVE queue, he came with me all the way back to my car (my car was NOT parked in the market spaces but in another car park) and carried the whole lot for me! Smile

I was very greatful (but TBH im sure i could have managed) and i was more than happy to go to car and come back for the next bag!)

That the first time ive thought that i must look really pregnant.... and i might have another 12+ weeks to go yet! agh!

Has anyone else had people go way out of there way? I know many heavily pregnant people dont even get offered seats on bus / train, so couldnt believe i had all my shopping carried right to my car boot!

I'm 29 weeks too and look 40, I've had loads of offers of help lately. Which I am happy to receive. I don't mind being big and getting bigger, tis just nature.

I asked a courrier to pick up the box he was collecting out of my boot for me yesterday. it was a heavy box (hence the courrier) but I did walk towards him with my belly sticking out as I really didn't want to have to lift it!

That sounds like a really lovely man!! Although I am yet to be offered a seat on public transport, I have had people help me in shops when I can't reach for things over my bump, and also when I was standing in B&Q contemplating how to get the heavy bag of compost into my trolley.

Nice to know that chivalry isn't completely dead Smile
