If nothing more than to combat my severe boredom I thought I would get a thread together for the week I am due and see where everyone else is up to.

I am due 12th July and from looking at other threads I know there are many many babies due in the month of July!!

Please feel free to come along and join in and lets support each other though the next week (or dare I say two)!!

Should I keep a running log so we know who is who and due when??

Here we go:

Kerri - 12/07/2011 - 2nd Baby

Hope to hear from you soon, Kerri xxx

I'm due 14th July. Would love to say in ready to go bag packed etc but it would be a lie! Possibly a bit too laid back for all this! Also having bathroom ripped out and replaced which is extra fun!
It's my first and slightly concerned I'm not more neurotic about it all!!
Good luck everyone else. Ive accepted that I have 4 weeks left rather than 2 so as not to be disappointed when I go overdue!!

Can I join despite being just outside the dates? Due 10th July with my first - a boy.

Despite being lucky and having a problem-free pregnancy I'm so sick of being pregnant and of people telling me that I either look massive or not big enough, and telling me horror stories about their/their great aunt's neighbour/their sisters dog's labour!

Report
Lynzilove · 30/06/2011 14:55

I'm not that bothered being pregnant still, but I do know where you're coming from with the 'too big/not big enough' comments! No one can make their mind up!

I'm due on the 14th with DC3. I'm so BORED of being pregnant. All I want is a large G&T and to be able to turn over in bed without causing an earthquake. And to meet my new baby, of course!

Good Morning Everyone,

Ooo Becci how have you managed to get a sweep so early on, I have an app for 13th if I haven't gone by then and then they will do another one a couple of days later.

Lynzilove, my bag is semi packed, I have all my things in but just need to get babies stuff together, I have washed and dried them all. Am I a bad mother for not being bothered to iron babygros and vests???

When I go out I am constantly asked how long left, then told your massive, your not as big this time round, ooo your bump has dropped and others say your still quite high. I think people just see the bump and feel the need to say something!!!

Turning over in bed is becoming a major issue for me now, I manage to get so far and then I seem to get wedge, or stranded like a whale (but that's just how I feel)!!!

I would love to just go and sit in the garden with a large jug of Pimms, put my feet up and forget the world around me, does anyone know where I can find a fastforward button, oh and then pause/mute :) x

Here is our list!!!
Babyonbord - Becci - 12 July 2011 - 2nd Baby
Lynzilove - 14th July 2011 - 1st Baby
SpannerPants - 10th July 2011 - 1st Baby - Boy
Clairefromsteps - 14th July 2011 - 3rd Baby

Oh so exciting to think who will meet their little one first!! x

they want to get baby out sooner rather than later because i had a dvt last time, the sweep didn't work as no baby yet i'm being induced in 3 weeks (i've held them off as long as i can, they did want to do it next week but i've had a show and my blood levels are good so they are happy to wait) so hopfully i'll get a nice natural delivery in the next 3 weeks come on isaac lol

I want pimms i hate that the weather is so nice somehow it makes not being able to drink so much worse and everyone is having fecking bbqs grrrrrrrrrrr i've already got an alcohol cuboard for after the baby is born. I hate that my midwife keeps recommending sex to get the baby out, thats great but the logistics are somewhat difficult as there is a huge bump in the way!!!

(i haven't ironed mine, as a rule i iron as little as possible lol)

Report
Lynzilove · 02/07/2011 12:03

I have to admit I have ironed everything (we have been given sooo much) but more because it has given me something to do,not sure how long it'll last once little uns here! Lots of stuff has been washed and chucked straight into vacbags as it's for 12 months +!

Hey everyone, I'm due on the 10th July with my first. For the past few weeks i've been telling myself I'm going to be late but now I'm not so sure. Although i'm fed up of being pregnant (getting really bad back ache and constantly topping up my hotwater bottle) I don't feel like i'm quite ready yet cause I haven't cleaned the kitchen floor! Also fancy a pimms too - must be cause wimbledon is on. Shame it isn't a pain relief option for when I go into labour.

Highheelsandequations due 13th July 1st baby

Fully expecting LO to keep us waiting a good few weeks yet but quite happy to keep my bump for a while, in fact I think I'll miss it when baby arrives! Have not yet packed my hospital bag but did buy some yummy blue cheese at the farmers market today that's good till 5th August and have a bottle of champagne that has been waiting since December so have the important things sorted for after the arrival :)

Morning Ladies,

Me - 12 July 2011 - 2nd Baby
Babyonbord - Becci - 12 July 2011 - 2nd Baby
Lynzilove - 14th July 2011 - 1st Baby
SpannerPants - 10th July 2011 - 1st Baby - Boy
Clairefromsteps - 14th July 2011 - 3rd Baby
PoshScouse - 10th July 2011 - 1st Baby
Nicolamumof3 - 16th July 2011 - 4th Baby
Highheelsandequations - 13th July 2011 - 1st Baby

Really thought it could be the start of something yesterday, I had crampy period type pains throughout the day but nothing with a pattern, mainly when I was walking around or out in the car. Went to bed and not a single twinge now!!!

Lol at Highheels, I too am looking forward to LO being here but will miss the constant kicking & restless nights. Will be grateful for a nice refreshing glass of anything alcoholic and some pate, not really keen on cheese :)

Anyway making my way into the garden to relax a little, might go for a walk later when it cools down a little :)

Really thinking that although it is only 8 days left I could be looking more at 18!!

Enjoy Sunday ladies xxx

I keep getting that, thinking something is happening and then it all stops, i bet he comes this week when i'd rather he didn't ive got my bouncer being delivered on friday and on sunday in york they do an annual dragon boat race for charity, my dh's firm take part every year and he's on the team if i got into labour now chances are with my long list of medical complications i'll be in hospital till the week after so i'll miss it, i will not be impressed. I ws hoping he would be here by now and i could sit on the side of the river and watch getting slowly drunk like i did last year (my dh's mum had already voluntered to be baby sitter for a few hours)

I have to admit I have resigned myself to a 3 1/2 week wait for baby as oppose to the week and half til edd. Also currently only have a toilet in my bathroom as having new one fitted (by my uncle - v slow!), don't really want little man being born into a building site. But if he is we'll just have to cope I suppose!

Report
babyonbord · 03/07/2011 16:24

you'll manage at least you have a toilet lol, it'll be fine im resigned to a 3 week wait as well he will either come this week or i'll have to be induced but we will all get there just think we will all have babies by the end of this month

That's just it. It's funny, the pregnancy, birth nothing has really faze me. What is a very odd thought is that I will have a baby relying on me by the end of the month. Still too surreal to get my head round!

I'm due 18th July and counting down the days! 5 days 'til next midwife appointment, 10 days 'til my next consultancy, 15 days 'til my due date and 27 days 'til I absolutely HAVE to be induced.

Although I wish it were 20 days til definitive induction - would make it a nice rounded 5-10-15-20!

And for the record? It's my first. And I feel like a freaking whale!
